Silkscreen (serigraph) printing involves the use of a stencil burned onto a
mesh screen stretched over a wood frame. Ink poured directly onto the frame
is forced through the open areas of the stencil. This action produces an
image when the underside of the screen comes in contact with the paper. Every
color requires a repeat of this process using a new stencil. These finished
pieces range from 6 to 15 colors. The editions are small in number. All of
the work is hand produced solely by the artist.
