There are several steps employed to produce these monoprint landscapes. A
water based image is painted directly onto an opening in the silkscreen mesh.
When the painting dries the image is transferred to paper using a transparent
base. This transference results in three to five images of varying intensity.
Each dried print is then 'hand worked' with a variety of materials so
variations in the pieces are noticeable, yet subtle. The prints are then
sealed with a semi-gloss transparent base to protect and preserve the
finished piece.
