| Movie Review: Only Human Alternate Title: Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?
Story: Leni and Rafi are in
love. The glitch in their relationship is that he is Palestinian and she
is Jewish. In this delightful Spanish farce, husband and wife, writer
and director team, Dominic Harari and Teresa Pelegi create laughs galore.
Leni brings Rafi home to meet her family. Each family member is quirkier
than the next. There are some slapstick scenes and chaotic mayhem that
had our theater audience in belly laughs.
Included in this farce is a mix of dementia, nymphomania, belly dancing,
possible patricide and mistaken identity.
It was fun and at times serious. Can this help the Palestinian Israeli
conflict. It couldn't hurt.
