| Movie Review: Music From the Inside Out Alternate Title: The Sound of Music
Story: Ever wonder who all those
people are in the orchestra? What are their lives like? What do they
do when they are not performing? Do they lose their individuality as
they are absorbed into the group? Are they always dressed up? Director and producer Daniel Anker
delivers a very entertaining documentary about the musicians in the
Philadelphia Orchestra. He traveled around the world with them for three
years and filmed their stories. We meet an intriguing bunch of people
with outside interests, passions and histories. From part time salsa players, painters, bluegrass fanatics and marathoners
their first love is music but it is not their only passion. If you can
find this entertaining, light film near you, check it out. I guarantee
you will exit smiling. You will also never look at an orchestra quite
the same way again. Acting: It is a documentary so this category is not
applicable.
Predilection: None.
Soundtrack: The music is out of this world wonderful.
Visual Art: One of the musicians is also a painter.

Big Screen or Rental: You will probably have trouble
finding this one at a theater near you. So rental might be the ay to
go.
