| Movie Review: Lovers of the Arctic Circle Story: Symmetry, destiny, synchronnicity, coincidence,
fate - whatever you want to call it - This beautiful film weaves, layers
and encircles the story of two people, who discover each other as children
and recognize their inseparable connection to one other. We follow them
individuallly and together with brilliant editing through the present,
future and the past while their relationship takes shape. Basically,
it is a terrific non-Hollywood love story.
Starring: The locales of Spain and Finland (a different
visual twist for me), and talented Spanish actors whose physical characteristics
are also wonderfully different and interesting to watch. The film is
in Spanish (classic Castillion). For anyone who took HS spanish it still
actually sounds familiar and most of the time I forgot about the subtitles.
